She was simply "Pearl" to our dad, "Mom" to us and "Bubbie" to
her five grandkids.
But she became known as "Auntie Pearl" to countless
college students,
who raided the care packages she mailed her Nieces and
Nephews
before finals every semester.
Those packages were filled with plenty of her special brownies.

perfect squares and individually wrapped in cellophane, her brownies
